Trains
The main railway stations in London are Eurostar Thames Link, Waterloo, Kings Cross,Victoria, St Pancras,Charing Cross, Euston, Liverpool Street and Paddington station. These nine British Rail train stations serve different parts of the UK. If you are travelling out of London, be sure to check which station is appropriate, as some only go to certain parts of the country. London Transport have a 'Stationlink' bus service which conects the major London British Rail stations The Underground train network also links all the stations and is usually the best way to travel across London.

Car
Hiring a car allows tremendous freedom in such a big city, along with the safety aspects of travelling at night. Since the introduction of the 'congestion charge', traffic levels have dropped significantly. Driving in london is not for the faint hearted, but parking and traffic flow has improved in the last year. Avoid rush hour traffic in the morning and early evening. Rent a small car, such as a Ford focus or mini, which is far easier to park and drive. we supply automatic cars but these tend to be slightly larger, often estate or saloon models. London drivers drive on the left and overtake on the right! Sounds obvious but don't forget, especially when turning into the road from a petrol station or hotel, where no road markings guide you into the correct lane. We recommend you opt for the reduced excess insurance plan when you hire one of our cars. Small accidents can happen, and many car hire firms only have a £500+ insurance excess option. If you do have an accident, take the details of the other driver and call the police. Always contact the hire firm as soon as possible,
